DESCRIPTION:The Arizona Federation of Weavers and Spinners Guilds is proud to announce the inaugural Arizona Fiber Festival to be held in April of 2024 in Camp Verde, Arizona.\nThe Arizona Fiber Festival (“Festival”) will feature an array of fiber and allied arts, ranging from fiber education to finished products. Activities and displays will include topics such as spinning, dyeing, weaving, felting, knitting, crocheting, basketry, beading, braiding, and embroidery.\nTo showcase these skills and products, the Festival will offer workshops, a vendor market, and scheduled demonstrations. Additionally, member Guilds of The Arizona Federation of Weavers and Spinners Guilds will promote the fiber arts through informational displays and examples of members’ work.\nThe Festival will be open on Friday, April 5, 2024, for workshops, with the vendor market and Guild booths available from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, and on Saturday, April 6, 2024, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday, April 7, 2024, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm, for workshops, the vendor market, demonstrations, and Guild booths.\nThe vendor market, demonstrations, and Guild booths will be open to the public.
